The Agilent 6460 Triple Quadrupole LC/MS delivers superior sensitivity for trace level analysis with performance specifications in Signal-to-Noise ratio (S/N) and Instrument Detection Limit (IDL). The Agilent 6460 Triple Quadrupole LC/MS achieves sensitivity and resolution specifications with autotune. The 6460 adds proven Agilent Jet Stream technology to dramatically increase sensitivity and reliability for trace level analysis breaking the femtogram barrier for many compounds.

Nano LC- ESI-QTOF, QStar Elite (ABSciex Pte Ltd)

The in-house nano-LC-MS/MS instrument is provided by ABSciex. It is a hybrid mass spectrometer (Q-Tof) with working accuracy of < 1 ppm error. The instrument depicted in picture is a nano-HPLC system coupled directly to mass spectrometer with a nano-ESI source. The instrument is constantly under functional condition in order to provide highly accurate data. My group specializes in developing method for qualitative and quantitative proteomics, biotransformation and other pharmaceutical analysis work flows on this instrument.

MALDI-TOF (Amersham Biosciences)

A matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time of flight mass spectrometer (MALDI-ToF MS), used specifically for the identification and characterization of proteins and peptides in proteomic investigations. It can be integrated with the 2-D gel electrophoresis workflow is a bench-top instrument, enabling rapid, reliable and unattended protein identification in low, as well as high-throughput proteomics applications. To obtain precise information on peptide sequences, the instrument utilizes a timed ion gate and a unique quadratic field reflectron (Z2 technology), allowing single-run, post-source decay (PSD) of selected peptides.
